| Wednesday, April 11, 2007 Dear friends.... I think I've been away from this "posting news affair" for far too long... I reckon! Few lil' nice things have happened since I last logged in... I spent two weeks in the States for a start... played some shows in New York and Austin (SXSW) left my heart on a terrace at three o'clock in the morning on a warm Texan night (after a few margaritas --- ouch!!! --- ) and lazily wondered around the festival with the lovely Lady Helen of Archway. Got back home on the first day of the spring (after having spent a day and a night at Eric Blakely's new house in the woods) .......but I'm still trying to recover though... maybe it's because there's been an extended birthday party which lasted five days and a few hours ....shortly after my return... again: ouch!!! --- In fact I must thank Mel and Kate and Lee for the cake the kindness and for the continuous support, and Steve and James for the LOVE! So, America was great but it's nice to be back in London and the greatest thing of all is that I'll finally start recording the new album ... I'm hoping to get together with some friends in May ... I'll keep you posted no doubt! The other ACE thing, is that I met Owen from Kennington Records ... and together we're trying to write some new stuff ... maybe a new folktronica project.... will keep you posted on that one too. As far as gigs are concerned, I'll be playing in London at the Twisted Folk Festival on April 21st and in Manchester on May 7th along side with some lovely folks and Andy Votel... again will post the details asap. Right, got to go.. someone rang the bell ... maybe is the postman. I received a phone call from Texas late last night ... they found my heart ... they fedexed it back. Maybe it's just arrived. Crazy.
